If Legacy Saddles are new to you we are glad to share
with you  the reason we have stood behind our product,
it's design and the craftsmen who make them since 1989.

Wayne J. Rasmussen has over 25 years of  bench
experience working on all types of saddles from all over
Europe and England. His feel for the craft is recognized
without question by the best riders in America.    His
opinion has been sought after by the finest saddle houses
in France and England.  But it was the simple concept he
found from a saddle maker in England that won his eye
and  discerning approval  
The appeal started with the concept that a comfortable
horse gives a winning performance. "It is critical that we
allow a horse to move freely from under the saddle with
every stride in a well fitted and suitable saddle" was a
new philosophy as little as 15- 20 years ago. This concept
was the springboard for a great working relationship with
our saddle house in England who shares the same mission.
